We at Duchess International Hospital (“the DUCHESS”), are strongly committed to
respect your privacy. DUCHESS respects you and is committed to honoring and
safeguarding your privacy. This Privacy Notice describes our privacy practices regarding
the collection and use of your personal data when you visit our premises

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

We collect basic personal information from you in our visitors’ database and/ or visitor
logbook, which includes but is not limited to name, company name, phone number,
reason of visit, date & time, etc. Video footage is also being recorded on our CCTV system
installed on our premises.

PURPOSE FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We collect, use and disclose information to ensure the physical security of the people
and items, security of confidential information located in our premises or accessible from
our premises. This is done to prevent loss, fraud, thefts, injuries, terrorism and other
events of such kind in our premises.

SECURITY

DUCHESS has implemented technical, physical, contractual, and organizational
safeguards with a view to protecting the security of personal data from loss, damage, or
unauthorized use, disclosure, alteration, or access, having regard to the nature of the
data, and the risks to which they are exposed by virtue of human action or the physical
environment.

SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA

DUCHESS will not share your Personal Data with third parties, except to the extent
required by law or permitted under any exception under the applicable data protection
legislation.

RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

DUCHESS will only keep your personal data for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill
the purposes for which it was collected, taking into consideration our need to respond to
your queries or resolve problems on any other purpose outlined above or to comply with
legal requirements under applicable law(s).

DUCHESS will erase any information about you as soon as it is no longer needed or upon
your request after a reasonable time.

  • require us to correct any mistakes in the Personal Data which we hold about you;
  •  require the erasure of the Personal Data which we hold about you;

  •  object at any time to the processing of Personal Data about you which is used for direct
    marketing purposes;
  •  object to decisions being taken by automated means which produce legal effects
    concerning you;
  •  object to our continued processing of Personal Data about you;
  •  otherwise restrict our processing of Personal Data about you.

consent to the collection and processing of your personal data in line with the DUCHESS
