Clinical laboratory services are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The service is fully automated. Its goal is to ensure accuracy in providing quality laboratory services to clinical departments within the hospital and externally.
The Duchess Hospital laboratory offers a variety of specialised tests, including blood chemistry, haematology, coagulation studies, microbiology, immunology, serology and transfusion services, to mention a few. Samples are efficiently processed and transported to the laboratory safely and effectively. Test results are made available within a short timeframe and delivered directly into the electronic patient record.
