Dr Alero Ann Roberts is a Consultant in Public Health and Senior Lecturer in Maternal and Child Health at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL).
She is involved in the teaching of Principles and Practice of Primary Health Care and Nutrition to 5th year medical students, supervising the research of undergraduate and postgraduate students in public health.
Dr Roberts is also involved in service delivery at the primary care level in the rural areas and in the development of strategies to improve universal access to quality care by mothers and under-fives through the widespread use of client-held home-based personal health records linked to electronic medical records. She is presently part of national operational research in the programmatic deployment of malaria rapid test kits and case management strategies.
