 ) remains one of the most potentially life-threatening complications of odo
 ntogenic infections.\nImpacted mandibular third molars (wisdom teeth) can s
 erve as a nidus for infection\, leading to rapid spread through the fascial
  planes of the neck.\nIf not recognized and managed promptly\, these infect
 ions may result in airway compromise\, mediastinitis\, sepsis\, and death.\
 nOdontogenic infections account for a significant proportion of deep neck s
 paceinfections seen in maxillofacial and emergency practice.\nEarly diagnos
 is\, prompt airway assessment\, appropriate antimicrobial therapy\, and tim
 ely surgical intervention are critical determinants of patient outcomes.\nT
 his session will explore the anatomical pathways of spread\, clinical prese
 ntation\, diagnostic approach\, multidisciplinary management\, and preventi
 ve strategies related to deep neck space infections arising from impacted t
